Frequently asked questions
We know you may have questions about how our programs work and what to expect. Here are answers to some of the most common questions:
How soon can I start once I sign up?
Expect to receive your plan within 7 days. After completing your sign-up, you will receive an email to set up your account (this should take less than 24 hours). Then, you will be asked to fill in an onboarding questionnaire (or have an onboarding call, depending on your package) so your coach can get started with your tailored strategy. Upon receiving your coaching plan, you can begin your workouts directly.
Is specific equipment needed for running training?
We recommend having a good pair of running shoes and, if possible, a GPS watch to track your runs and progress accurately. However, it is not mandatory and this can be discussed with your coach.
What types of races can I train for?
You can train for a range of races, from 5k to ultra marathons, tailored to your experience level and running objectives.
Do I need to participate in a race?
You don't have to! You can train without any specific race in mind. That being said, we will work together to set goals so you have something to be motivated for!
What types of workouts can I expect for running?
Expect a mix of endurance runs, interval training, tempo runs, and recovery sessions tailored to your running goals and based on your current fitness level. Some cross-training may be scheduled if necessary.
How are exercises shown in the app?
Similar to strength training, exercises and run sessions come with detailed instructions, visuals, and any additional notes for clarity. You will have access to two different apps: one dedicated for running and one for your strength and mobility workouts.
What kind of resources will I receive?
Resources include training plans, race strategy guides, injury prevention tips, nutrition advice for runners, and much more!
Who will be my coach?
Your coach will be Elise for nutrition and strength training, and Jasper for running. They are experienced and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.
